Title: I love Hitler: South African idiot of the week...
Post by: Trevor on April 28, 2015, 08:01:54 AM
Moron: if he, as a person of color, had lived in Hitler's Germany, he would have been sent to a concentration camp. Dumb-ass.

Someday I'm going to ask a modern-day fascist why they revere Hitler, since any examination of Hitler's life would easily show he pretty-much single-handedly ushered in the destruction of that vile philosophy, leaving it an anathema to the entire world. Seems like neo-Nazis should have more reason than most people to hate Hitler, not embrace him. But then again consider the group of outcasts I'm writing about.

Been seeing a lot of posts shared on some friends facebooks pages from an organisation called 'Britain First'. They'll ask you to show your support for them by asking you to like & share a picture of something you'd normally agree with (for example a protest against animal cruelty, or when Fusillier Lee Rigby was murdered they ran a campaign based on him (which his family had to take legal action against to get stopped)). They then turn round and say, hey we have X thousand amount of people supporting us. Turns out the guy who founded it apparently left some other extreme right wing groups to start his own because the other groups were being too soft. So this morning I put up some stuff explaining what you are actually supporting when you share these peoples messages and that rather than sharing them from Britain First's page if you really want to post one of their pictures at least save it on to your computer then upload it rather than just sharing it and giving them increased visibility.

Wonder how many people will have unfriended me by the end of the week. But the thing that really gets me is that a lot of the people who are sharing and liking these posts are people who have long term illnesses, some physical, some mental. These are people who wouldn't really benefit from that kind of group being in power.
