Quote Subway is shelving its relationship with longtime spokesman Jared Fogle, the restaurant chain announced Tuesday afternoon, hours after reports surfaced that federal authorities had raided Fogle’s suburban Indianapolis home. "Subway and Jared Fogle have mutually agreed to suspend their relationship due to the current investigation," the company said in a statement. "Jared continues to cooperate with authorities and he expects no actions to be forthcoming." No charges have been filed against Fogle, and federal authorities would not confirm the investigation, but a former executive with Fogle's Jared Foundation was charged in May with making and possessing child pornography. Earlier Tuesday, Subway announced that it was "shocked by the news" about Fogle, and it set about removing the spokesman’s presence from its website, starting with pages detailing Fogle's story and history with the company. It was at least another hour before Subway scrubbed a game called "Jared's Pants Dance" from its kids site. Question. What the hell was this "Jared's Pants Dance" game? Do I even wanna know? Probably something involving that picture.
This is some pretty twisted stuff that it sounds like he was involved in, though. Jared himself is not a suspect in the investigation, so far.

Michael Jackson seemed to survived his stigma of being a child pervert [nobody knows for sure what he was doing with the kids]... (Ok, survived is a funny word because Michael Jackson is now dead... But it seemed that outside of South Park nobody else was really talking about Michael Jackson... or even making an attempt ban his music... Doesnt anybody think that's odd... especially when people are removing statues of Bill Cosby or now Subway is 'firing' Jared... Yet, they still play Michael Jackson's music... Am I the only one that thinks that odd...) |
