The description of the pendulum in the film made it sound like it was NOT Pit And The Pendulum or an update/remake of it. Sounds like I must have watched it or seen it on a video/dvd cover.
The description: There was this old movie playing either on Sci Fi Theatre, Creature Feature, or Monsters We Know and Love. The only scene I remember from it was a pendulum with a gold metallic sun (including possibly a face, and petals around the circumference). I get the feeling that's not it but who knows; they may have confused certain things about the film (and we all know how easily that can happen).
There were so many medieval/renaissance era torture films of the late 60s/70s that would take a long while to sift through. Some of which is still hard to find in any form of the film, but . . .?! There's no pendulum scene that I can recollect. Maybe Mark of the Devil, which I have never seen. I would never have guessed a pendulum would be in that movie.. never seen it but it sounds like MST3K fodder. Thanks for the help!
