A bumbling youth named Alan, after a failed effort to propose to his girlfriend, is kidnapped by an evil doctor who steals his eye and places it in a creature he is creating out of dead body parts.  Alan regains consciousness as electrical current is surging into the monster's body, bringing it to life, and stumbles into the equipment, creating an electrical overload that rips a hole in the fabric of time, sending him, the monster, the evil doctor, and the doctor's assistant Igor back in time to the Civil War, where the Union is fighting a desperate battle.  The time rip also replicates an army of monstrous clones who kill everything in sight!  Can the monsters be tamed and used to save the Union?  Will the Confederates create a monster of their own?  Will Alan be able to save Abraham Lincoln and change history?  And will he be able to save his great-great-grandfather in order to insure his own birth 130 years later?  And can he get back to the 21st century in time to have another chance with his girl?  This was a great big steaming spoonful of cinematic cheese, and I LOVED it!!!  5/5

Wow, it is seriously confusing that Frankenstein's Army also came out in 2013.   :buggedout:  That's the movie I was thinking this was, and that one has its moments but isn't great.

After watching the trailer, this one looks better.
