Title: The Martian Post by: Zapranoth on October 04, 2015, 03:41:02 PM Enjoyed it much, a biased 4.5 / 5 from me I'd say. (I read the book back in March and enjoyed it a lot.)
Scott always can make a beautiful looking movie, and Damon delivers well on the part of botanist Mark Watney who is accidentally left for dead on Mars. A lot of the book is pretty cerebral stuff (Watney solving problems and doing math in his head) which is not really translatable to film, but for what can be done with the source, I'd say it was well done. |
