Title: Pearl Harbor Day---Double Espresso History Edition
Post by: ER on December 07, 2015, 09:48:11 AM
Upon this day in 1941, a Sunday, day of peace across the civilized globe, one of the greatest people ever to inhabit the earth, the Japanese, then displaying a collective psychopathy which manifested in the form of a genocidal empire, launched a sneak attack upon the mightiest and most beneficent nation ever to exist in the history of the world, and received in response the most profound ass-kicking ever doled out in the annals of ass-kickings, an ass-kicking so severe that cities were melted to glass, human bodies to shadow, and to this day the Japanese have not forgotten their distant soreness of ass, and have never again turned their considerable talents toward the pursuit of war, but instead lead the way forward in the field of technology, giving mankind the gifts of sushi, anime, schoolgirl porn, and the Sony Play Station in all its noble incarnations. (Hail, Sony!) May we, oft-unappreciated protectors of freedom in an ungrateful and ever-critical world, who stand even as we are reviled by those we once aided, never forget our foreparents' dignity and courage, their sacrifice, and may we too face aggression with a similar fortitude, instead of the hand-holding weakness of the misguided in this androgynous age that amid distractions and befuddlement knows not its own failings.

That is the most unique summation of the events of Pearl Harbor I have ever read!
