Jessica Jones is a retired superhero with PTSD and alcohol issues.  So she finds work as a P.I.  Jessica Jones is a fantastic show with a complicated lead character performed incredibly by Krysten Ritter.  At various points, Jessica was a Defender and an Avenger, and considering Netflix's success with Daredevil, I'm sure they'll eventually get us a Defenders show.

It needed a couple of eps to get moving but is a pretty decent series which I actually liked a bit more than Daredevil, though they're both well done. A somewhat less compelling villain than in Daredevil but makes up for it with sheer ick factor of the power [mind control].

The villain is one of the lesser known Marvel villains, but to David Tennant's credit, he plays it fantastically.

I haven't finished the season yet, I've got four more episodes.

I hear they're pushing to a Defenders crossover eventually.  Daredevil, Jessica, Luke Cage and Iron Fist

Yeah, that's right.  I think it's pretty funny they're the ones under that name.  For perspective, the original Defenders were the Incredible Hulk, Doctor Strange, and the Submariner.  To say the least, the power difference between these two sets is extreme.

I liked Jessica Jones a good amount.  I don't think it was quite great, and felt a bit stretched at 13 episodes (Daredevil too, though not as much), but it was well acted and well made.

It's interesting where they're going.

I prefer Jones to Daredevil so far as a series.

I'm curious if she's popping up in Luke Cage's tv series. Given they get married

Interesting question.

The best info I have at this time is . . .? Yes and no.

No
While we next year in 2016 are to get a . . .
2nd season of Daredevil
A season of Iron Fist
and a season of Luke Cage.
No word as to another season of Jessica Jones.
Jessica Jones is not scheduled, at this time, to appear in Luke Cage. Which took me by surprise, as Luke Cage appeared in Jessica Jones.

Yes
What we are also getting in 2016 is a miniseries of 6 or 8 episodes of The Defenders featuring Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. Thus, they are scheduled to appear together, if not in the series, but . . .?! in the miniseries.

And we shall see what we will see.

I'm assuming we'll get a full season of Jones in 2017.  Post-Cage/Fist/Daredevil, etc.

So, presumably, cameos in all those seasons, etc, similar to the MCU film-verse.

I watched the first three episodes last night as was very impressed.  It is very well acted and shot, and the plot moves along and hold attention and suspense very well.

The use of Kilgrave shows that a visually unimpressive power like mind control can create a lot of intrigue and suspense on screen, so if they happen to bring in The Profile, with his ability to see people's character and weaknesses and manipulate them accordingly, that could play out really well.

We want Moon Knight!  By Khonshu, give us Moon Knight!

I'm reading we may not get a full season 2.  Kind of a bummer.

They could just be keeping a tight lid on it.

If it does go for less than a full season, there are a number of reasons.

1st "Luke Cage" is coming in 2016, and while Jessica is yet to be listed as part of that show, I can't see her not playing some part in it, e'en if it is only a cameo.
2nd "Iron Fist" is also supposedly coming in 2016, and after that, Daredevil, Jessica, Luke, and Iron Fist join up for "The Defenders" in 2016.
3rd And Kill grave may be back, if there is a another season of "Jessica Jones."
