So, finally went and saw despite my trepidation.  The trepidation was I had a feeling some of the subject matter would probably depress me, but that's another thread.

Anyway, what can I saw that hasn't already been said?  This is a VERY good movie period.  Not a good animated movies (although it is animated) just a good movie.

The story centers around a young college girl who meets and falls in love with a mysterious young man who turns out to be a werewolf.  But unlike the movies, he can change at will and doesn't go around killing people.  In fact, he's a pretty decent fellow.  They get married and have two kids, but, when he mysteriously dies, the girl finds herself raising a boy and girl all alone.  The difficulty in raising children is compounded by the fact the two tykes can, like their father, shift from wolf to human.  Deciding to move away from prying eyes, the young girl buys a run down house far in the country.

The film runs the gamut of emotions, from funny to sad, to scary, you name it.  We follow the young girl and her children as they go through the struggles that every family has to go through, as the children get older and have to decide (as do we all) what path in life to take.

Been sitting on my to-watch-list for ages now. My vacation is coming up, so I will probably watch it then...been hearing only good things.
