Title: Hard Ticket to Hawaii
Post by: clockworkcanary on January 05, 2017, 09:04:56 AM
This movie is what some 15 year old boys think women do after pillow fights and tickle wars. I'm not sure if this film is attempting to be a secret agent, action, heist, martial arts, buddy cop, tourist brochure, soft core flick, or monster movie, but it sure fails at merging any of those concepts.

The lead ladies solve their problems by getting topless and hopping into a Jacuzzi with dialogue consisting of dick jokes and James Bond callouts. All the men are either terrible jokesters, attempted molesters, wear their pants up to their nipples, or all of the above. Hell, the sleazebag director makes a cameo as a would-be rapist TV producer.

I did legitimately laugh at the football player's interview response, but the rest of the laughs were unintentional. Almost every line is a great cheesy quote.

If you want to see a guy shooting a blow-up doll with a bazooka, a guy taking a bladed Frisbee to the face, a giant toxic killer snake, or a bad guy who's harder to kill than Michael Myers (seriously, he gets shot in the face and basically walks it off), then this 'boobs and explosions' movie is for you!

This movie is insane but fun; it's as bad as The Room but so much more entertaining.

Ah, Hard Ticket to Hawaii, one of the lesser of the Andy Sidaris (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0796477/) softcore flicks.

Look for Malibu Express, it's much the same thing, but it was made earlier and turned out a bit better.

In fact, a quick search showed that ME and several of the other Sidaris skin-flicks are on YouTube.

I was lucky (unlucky) enough to find the Andy Sedaris collection for $5 and Hard Ticket to Hawaii is the first that I watched. I'll definitely check out the others, especially Malibu Express since they schilled the poster for it in this flick.

Hehehe, what a wild ride.

I'd hardly call Hard Ticket a lesser Sidaris effort. It's the crown jewel of that bombs bottles and broads or whatever it is collection

HARD TICKET TO HAWAII is my favorite Sidaris flick.

MALIBU EXPRESS is good and notable for the insane amount of breast exposure, but he never made another movie as crazy fun as HARD TICKET. The rest of the series from then on is just copying the formula he perfected in HARD TICKET.

I mean, this is what bad movie fans dream of, right?

think it was actually one of your posts on here a while back that alerted me to it. definitely a badness fun ride of craptastic 80s proportions!

there's a band called Picasso Trigger. they are one of those bands who weren't much in the 90's but sound pretty good relative to music today. grunge/ riot girl influenced https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTC1Xph6BT8 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTC1Xph6BT8)
