It's not my favourite of his books, but I've not abandoned it and jusst started reading something else either.

Post by: indianasmith on January 01, 2018, 12:01:33 PM Looks like I read a total of 47 books this year.
About seventeen of those were cartoon anthologies (I have a huge collection of those and read them over and over again). Sixteen of those were historical works; three of them over 600 pages long. The rest were novels, although the Colleen McCullough books are historical novels of such accuracy that you might as well be reading real Roman history. They're also, on average, 700 pages each. To paraphrase a popular song, "I like big books and I cannot lie!" |
