Since Indiana Smith created a new Rev. Powell appreciation thread, I thought I should pay it forward.

There are many great posters on this forum, but almost no one is as beloved as Trevor. Kind, and weird in the best way (:thumbup:), this South African film archivist is beloved by all, and probably this forum's mascot. And you are not officially a member of this community until you've made a joke about Trevor's underpants!

While many who post here bring various other anatomical features to mind, Trevor is the beating heart of BMDO.

Hear hear!   Trevor is my South African brother from another mother - although I claim NO relation to his underpants!  :teddyr:

I appreciate that Trevor regulatory posts interesting and humorous content to the forum without ever seemingly loosing his cool. 

I also appreciate that he's an ocean away instead of nearby so I can't smell him.

To Trevor: in whose shadow the rest of us come off as pleasant-smelling as daisies, even while being far less pleasant-tempered than he is.

Brother Trevor is our patron saint of all things calm, pleasant (except his undies), and delightfully left of center. Plus, he does a wicked Joan Collins impersonation after he's had a couple of root beers.

We love you, Trevor. And thank you for helping to preserve physical copies of films. You are a caretaker of a dying format. Long may you reign!

Trevor is a kind gentle person, devoted to Bad Movies. 

Trevor is one of the sweetest men I know.  And, based on his most recent picture, has some pretty rockin' shoes!
