BTW: I didn't find Pennywise scary at all. Nothing King's written has ever scared me, just drawn me in and kept me reading because his is a powerful talent and we're lucky to have him in our era.
As for the book.... I guess I should say SPOILER ALERT here.... To me the entire book was more or less ruined years ago when King inexplicably wrote about them all getting together and having sex with Bev at the end. Just....WHAT???? That SO did not fit the tone of that novel. I read IT when I was fourteen and sometimes toy with the idea of reading it again and seeing how it feels today. |
