I remember my first Halloween costume-its was one of the cheap masks that came in a box with a weird smock. I was a skeleton! We ran around kicking pumpkin heads! I do remember a few different ones I had when I waas young. I can't recall what order they were in though. One of my costume was Captain America, that I insisted on having a stary cape with. There was what I considered a swamp monster. It was a rubber mask of some green skinned bald monster, rubber frankenstein gloves, camouflage clothes, and a plastic executioners axe. Also, when Batman (the 89 version) came out I went as him that year in a costume my mom made for me. I also remember a rubber skull mask and a mom-made skeleton outfit, but that may have belonged to my brother not me. Oh, and Egon from the Real Ghostbusters. Title: Re: HALLOWEEN! first stateside costume i remember is a rather chubby fairy, because of the longjohns under it,lol! i was 7. then my brother and i had our tonsils out the next year and our uncle sent us a TON of famous monsters mags and we got into monster makeup. from then on in, every kid we knew was a monster of some sort...my parents were pretty awesome, lol! and i still do sfx makeup almost 50 years later. :D |
