So, I'm sitting here with a mild cold, more annoyed than miserable. It's one of those that seems to clear up for a few hours, then returns with a vengeance. I'm only on day two, so it could get a lot worse. I'm a total baby about colds, I just want to lie around and moan and have someone else do everything for me if I can. I only get about one a year, and since I quit smoking, some years I manage to make it through winter with none at all. I haven't caught the flu at all since I started getting yearly vaccinations. Anyway, what have you caught this year?

I'm just recovering from a nasty cold. Thank god it wasn't the flu. It was mostly a runny nose for two weeks straight, a bit of bone aching and just feeling awful. I actually had to take sick leave from work last week, and I was in bed most of the time drinking plenty of liquids. Our firm is closed over the christmas holidays until after new years so I still have a bit of time to feel better.

Currently housebound with acute bronchitis. Started as a head cold, then the drainage invaded my lungs and ickiness was bred. Thursday, I was literally on my knee wheezing and asking my boss to allow LWOP so I could go to the doctor.

Doctor told me what it was, which was about what I expected. On steroids and an inhaler. So sick of coughing up Green Slime right now.

Upside, I am cataloging the movies I've been binge watching. 15 since Thursday night. Retraining my brain to sit through damn near anything without whimpering or crying. Except SUCKER PUNCH. Once is one time too many with that one.

Most interesting title has been TOKYO FILE 212. I'll post it in Recent Viewings.

Me and my mom caught a person who doesn't keep herself healthy, who has friends who don't step up to help her go to the hospital for doctors appointments, who complains a lot, who lives in Mississippi, who has been stay at our house for a while. We call her Pallas.

I get sick so rarely that when one of my offspring brought something home from school last March that jumped ship to me, I actually felt like my immune system had let me down.

Besides how can you guys not know that flu shots are how the government gets micro-neural implants into the population?

  my sympathies to all not feeling well.. hubby and i both went though bronchitis hell in october, then i had the great joy of a stomach virus a few weeks ago.
