The fact that Suicide Squad won an Oscar is proof that they're nothing but a joke. I began totally ignoring them when Jesse Jackson basically shook down the Oscars with a pretty open threat of consequences if blacks didn't win that year. That was true when they picked that typical song from Tangled over the more atypical (IMHO) "I Have a Dream." And it continued this year when they picked that song from Coco, even if it won the Oscar for Best Song over the more atypical "Un Poco Loco."
