It was during the "let's make a bunch of low-budget Indiana Jones rip-offs" era.

Post by: FatFreddysCat on April 01, 2018, 07:16:28 AM For a while in the early 80s, this movie was on cable almost as much as the original "Beastmaster," I saw it several times. I was an Indiana Jones junkie so I loved it (and all the other low budget ripoffs that came in his wake).

I can remember liking the non-3-D parts better than the 3-D parts.

The end scenes where the team infiltrates the compound and uses those keys to open the crowns to get the jewels always amazed me. I remember having dreams where I was one of them trying to open one of the crowns. :smile: :thumbup: |
