They won't say why. Apparently he didn't have much of a creative background, & he didn't agree with one of the company's big shareholders. He'd just signed a new 5-year deal; wonder what the penalties will be to MGM.

They'll probably have to buy out his contract. Typical, when a person is let go, ere their contract has expired. MGM is an interesting company, as it has mainly gone from the biggest producer of films in Hollywood to a company that makes its distribution services, its post production facilities, and its management services available to others.

I didn't even know they had facilities anymore...
