If you mean 'Annihilation', I just got round to it, and I loved it to bits.

It has a very Lovecraftian feel to it (In fact, it is a modern take on The Colour out of Space) in that it is not about a protagonist battling with an opponent (as per usual in alien monster movies) but an effort to remain sane and survive against unnamed forces, while reality is out of kilter.

I also like that they left a lot of the mystery intact. Just like in Alex Garland's earlier Ex Machina, the characters say 'I don't know' a great deal. They don't have a firm grip on what is happening, which makes the movie all the more intriguing to me.

Also, it is beautiful.

In fact, if you consider  the general pacing, the interaction between the characters and the chapter structure, this is in many ways a kind of 'Wes Anderson meets Lovecraft'.

If it's a Lovecraftian movie, I'm going to see it.  Even better if it's very plot driven and beautifully shot.

One of my favourites of the year, although for people who want a comprehensible plot with a satisfying end, they should probably lower their expectations.

Impeccable sound design in this one as well: the soundtrack and that freakin bear...
