This is Gamelot from Ultraman Leo (1974). He's a giant robot with springs inside of his legs sent and he can also retract his limbs into his body to fly around. The design is actually not bad, but the whole leg-spring thing came off as pretty cheesy. http://youtu.be/li_GwUILriU?t=218 (http://youtu.be/li_GwUILriU?t=218) And lastly, here is Mechagiras from Ultraman 80 (1980). While the design isn't too bad, it's pretty much Ultraman's cheap knockoff of the more popular Mechagodzilla from Toho's films. It's a giant robotic dinosaur-like thing, it fires lasers, has a force field surrounding it, and it has a head that rotates a full 360° that also just so happens to be its weakness. I've been more familiar with the Japanese tokusatsu shows and films as well as a good chunk of European and American monster flicks, but somehow, the South American ones always manage to fall under my radar..... Maybe it's because the title isn't always translated to English? And also because they seem to never show up on my searches for dumb monster movies for some reason.... It's a giant robotic dinosaur-like thing, it fires lasers, has a force field surrounding it, and it has a head that rotates a full 360° that also just so happens to be its weakness.
