With all the bad news and looming apocalypi (Plural of apocalypse)  why not share some positive, good news?

Hitler is still dead!
He hasn't been cloned, isn't amassing a secret army in Brazil, and his head isn't floating in a tank with wires attached.

Kittens are still fluffy, and dachshunds still pleasantly goofy looking.

These are the things to cherish, a seed and a dream and a child, else must the nations perish, and earth run away to the wild.

My niece and nephew think I'm awesome.

My blood type is O+.

I just gave a teeny tiny baby a huge pink teddy bear.

I'm alive, reasonably healthy, I have a job I like, I have a place to stay and I have a monthly income.

I am looking forward to seeing Skyscraper on Saturday.

I still haven't seen Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom yet.

Friends are the family God lets us choose for ourselves.

Just about every week (or at least every week I'm available, which is usually most of them), I will stop by and visit my grandparents (and recently, my cousin's been joining me on these visits as well) at their house. We usually just talk, help out, make sure everyone's doing okay, and of course we'll help out doing any house/yard work if needed.

And then we spend the rest of the evening/night watching movies... not just any movies, mind you. Bad movies. We call it "bad movie night", where the family will all get together and watch a truly spectacular B-Movie (usually a monster movie, because that's everyone's favorite) or TV shows. Classics, modern films, you name it! We usually aren't picky, although we do try to avoid the ones with graphic sexual content because that can be pretty awkward to watch right next to your grandparents. We are currently marathoning the Ultraman Series, which has been a bizarre but hugely fun experience.

I'm so grateful to still have a wonderful family that I can still hang out with and talk to, who share some of my common interests, even after all these years. I just wish it could be the same for everyone....

Each newborn baby is a sign God wants the human race to continue.

Death comes at the end of life and not its beginning.

Mine is AB -

If we mix them, we might create a monster similar to the Blob.

No one harmed, no one suffering, all around happy ending to a situation that could have gone otherwise...
