Title: Fargo Seasons 1-3
Post by: ER on September 13, 2018, 09:34:22 AM
Fargo season one: Brilliant, loved it. Amazing. Great characters, terrific performances, witty dialogue, all set amid the snow-choked Midwestern prairies. Who knew Garrison Keillor country could be so sanguine?

Fargo season two: Impossibly, this season was even better than the first. It also was dominated by two female characters, with standout performances by Jean Smart as a tough as nails north plains crime family matriarch, and Kirsten Dunst as a "bit tetched" young woman who, in classic Fargo fashion, sets off the whole chain of blood-soaked dominoes.

Fargo season three: Meesa think someone let Jar-Jar make this season. After two such outstanding series before it, how was it that everything went so wrong? Still two out three isn't a bad average, except for an airline.

At its best Fargo is one of the most morbidly funny, most violent exercises in genre-busting ever made. At its worst...well season three doesn't define the show, thankfully.
