Maybe an antidote to that is to note that one pastor in Harlem, New York, James Manning, took his all-minority congregation to Gettysburg in 2015 to lay flowers on the graves of Union soldiers who fell there, in thanks for giving their lives in a war that ended slavery in the US. Any news article only has to be 5% truth in the UK and the Mail has been known to play fast and loose with even that.
