Title: From Beyond The Grave Post by: ER on November 01, 2018, 10:29:03 AM I saw most of this yesterday on TCM while I was waiting for trick or treat to start and ended up getting into it. It's an anthology of horror stories, each centered around an antiques shop run by Peter Cushing. Every story was tied in to someone coming into the shop and offending Cushing's character by ripping him off. Bad idea. I liked it enough to have ordered a copy this morning, and think that age and style of horror (a counterpart of the classic golden age sci-fi, somehow) works better than almost anything done today, which misses the mark on capitalizing on campiness. It's a fun film!

They're all horror anthologies , of varying quality. But they're all good fun! One of the worst is narrated by John Carradine and features Lon Chaney Jr is DR. TERROR'S GALLERY OF HORRORS (1967). UGH!
