Title: Star Trek 4 Shelved.

I'd heard this one had been in trouble for a while, and it looks like Paramount has decided to put it on the back burner.

Yeah, I heard that, too.  Which means, at this time, whatever the complaints about Star Wars, the films are doing better at the box office than Star Trek. For after Episode IX plays out at the end of this year, the word is that we will be getting a new Star Wars trilogy.

Of course, not is all lost for the fans of Star Trek, the TV series Star Trek : Discovery is getting a 2nd season to begin later this year.

Though, what gets me is why, even with the talks between Paramount Pictures and Universal, nothing has been done, so far, to bring a Star Trek attraction to Universal Orlando. When Disneyland is getting a Star Wars with merchandise locations, dining areas, a cantina, and attractions. And Disney Hollywood Studios is getting the same, with the addition of an interactive hotel.

There use to be a Star Trek attraction, till it closed, at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas (Nevada.) Which I quite enjoyed, as it laid out in a timeline the complete history of Star Trek up to that time.

So, we will see what we will see.
