John Agar. If you saw a B sf movie from the 50's thru the late 60's, there was a decent chance John Agar was in it. Starting out in westerns he ended up in the scifi circuit and became a pretty solid piece of if. He never felt bad about being cast in B scifi movies as people enjoyed them and it was a job for him. he was the first man to marry shirley temple and had some trouble with alcohol but generally lived a decent life and had a long career. B scifi movie fans should have a certain fondness for him. |
