She was usually outclassed and outgunned by other kaiju but always fought her hardest, and only fought to protect things like her young.

Villain side. Showa Era favorite is Gigan. He's got an interesting design. He's a cyborg, has a blue/gold color palette and is covered in blades. He's a 90's comic character that debuted in the 70's.
