I think highly of both, but definitely prefer NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, own the soundtrack and listen often, but don't think it's a superior film (just more watchable). Having just watched the former I'd have to go with Leprechaun for the overall levels of zaniness. The aliens we're hilarious, I think their spaceship may have been powered by the lesbian vibes the martian queen was putting out when drooling over the girls in the bikinis, the martians had real toy guns, they made the stupidest mistakes possible and hey, the Android dies nobly protecting humanity a'la the terminator in T2.
Would you rather: Doctor Strangelove or failsafe? I have to go with fail safe. I like kubrick but he openly pulled a dirty move on fail safe to delay it's release until after Strangelove.
