Title: Fast Food Chicken?
Post by: RCMerchant on February 26, 2019, 11:48:45 AM
Where's the best fast food chicken at around your neck of the woods?
Here it's the  broasted deli chicken at Waggoners in Lawton!
But there's also  Chicken Coop in Paw Paw, and Lee's Famous Recipe in Kalamazoo.

Probably Popeye's.

I'm not as opposed to KFC as many seem to be nowadays.

It's hard to find BAD fried chicken.

Here in South Africa, the chickens are really fast so we have to run to catch them

Here we don't have Fast Food places specialized in chicken (edit to add: we do have KFC but not in a 20 miles radius), except for what BK and McD has to offer.

That said we have a food truck coming once a week to a local supermarket's parking lot selling Rotisserie Chicken.

Much better than any fast food chicken in my opinion.

A local deli in my town has pretty bad-ass fried chicken. Their wing platters are must-haves for holiday gatherings too.

in my home town we have a choice of Chicken Express, KFC, Golden Chick, Popeye's, Grandy's, Church's, Chik Fil-A, and also our Brookshire's grocery store sells their own fried chicken (also Wings to Go and one other Wings place).  Of those, Chicken Express is usually my first choice.

Popeye's is a favorite of mine.. but any place that has buttermilk fried chicken..
KCF is fine and a lot closer and has good sides (though Popeye's biscuits are better).

Popeye's is ok if you  ask for the stuff that isn't seasoned with napalm.

On Long Island in the 80's they had Roy Rogers-which had fantastic chicken.

Here KFC and Nandos www.nandos.co.za (http://www.nandos.co.za) have the best chicken: don't go to Nandos and ask for hot chicken, though. They sell their chicken with a liter of milk and a fire extinguisher.  :hot: :drink: :teddyr: :teddyr:

Raisin Cane's. Popeye's usually has a long line for okayish food. Raisin Cane's also has long lines for okayish food, but it's better imo.

There is a KFC about 10 miles away from where we live, and that is the closest fast food chicken to us. I've never actually been to it.
