Title: Getting my right knee scoped in two weeks Post by: sprite75 on March 07, 2019, 12:34:51 AM I’ve been having some knee pain over the last few months. I had an MRI which showed a torn meniscus. So the doctor has to do a knee arthroscopy to repair the damage.

It's a common basketball injury. You may have to use crutches for weeks afterwards, but otherwise recovery doesn't sound that bad, and your pain should be gone.

The first full day after surgery was the worst but it's gotten better since then. I can do some walking without crutches but keep them around just in case my right leg gets p**sed off and decides to remind me it had just been operated on. Pain isn't too bad. I haven't had to take the pain meds they gave since the first day. I'm not taking those again unless I need them.
I think tomorrow I'm going to go in town. I have to get out of the house. Going stir-crazy here.
