Title: Super depressing silent movie . Post by: Svengoolie 3 on June 10, 2019, 06:50:43 PM I remember a super depressing silent movie from some scandaniviian country. The gist was that the first person to die in a new hear becomes this sort of reaper who, alone with a horse and a cart, has to collect and carry the soul of everyone who dies to the afterlife.
It's apparently a very sad, tiring job. One guy is dying on the first day of the new year but I think he was a friend of the current reaper and he has a wife and daughter who are going to commit suicide because he's such a terrible husband and father and he begs for a chance to go back and save them and reform.
