One of my friend's wife's mentioned she loved Terry Gilliam's stuff, so I bought her a copy of Time Bandits. Little did I know she had a crippling fear of short people. Title: Re: Time bandits. Used to imagine that a bunch of British dwarves were using my room as their interdimensional gateway. I haven't seen it for at least 30 years, so I don't remember too much of it, apart from Evil saying that God made weird choices like 'nipples for men', and the Bandits singing Me And My Shadow. I also have the novelization.

I know I saw it several times when it was making the cable-TV rounds in the early 80s. I even had the Marvel Comics adaptation!
