Richard Williams, animation director for Who Framed Roger Rabbit passed away this weekend.

This was a man who created and produced some of the most incredible animation ever put to film.  I'd say we haven't seen much that achieved his level.  Especially today.  Very few really understood animation movement like he did.  Some of his work-even on his non human characters looks rotoscoped.  

A real inspiration to animator and just fans of animation in general.
