I've been running a campaign of the dark heresy 2 RPG for a couple years now, one of my players wants to run it so I have been running my techpriest NPC as a character.

Tonight I ended up having my techpriest kneel before a sacred  power axe of the Omnissiah that was forged on mars and and asking its  machine spirit if  he was truly worthy to weild such a sacred and holy weapon, and asking the machine god if it was truly the will of the machine god  for him to lay his merely human hands on such a divine instrument.

A priest of the ecclisiarchy was likewise kneeling before a sacred and holy weapon known as a daemon hammer and asking the emperor if he was worthy to weild such a sacred iconic weapon.

This woman walked in and saw a guy who was a techpriest of the adeptus mechanicus praying to an axe and asking the machine god if he was worthy of it while a guy who was a priest of the adeptus ministorum kneeling before a hammer and praying to his emperor for a sign that he was worthy to bear such a holy weapon.

She ended up using her psychic powers to give both of our characters a vision showing them they were worthy in both their god's eyes.

We were going after a daemon prince but he escaped back into the warp after  his daemonettes pulled a couple chaos traitor space marines out  of the warp  to defend him as the daemonettes were  too afraid of the weapons we were carrying to fight us.

I suspect 1 of 2 things here- you copied and pasted this from someone else (because you can't normally write a sentence without a spelling error-let alone paragraphs) or you were possessed momentarily by someone who can.. I think the first one seems more logical.
No offense- but don't try to pass this off as you. Because it isn't.

Yes this was my latest game session,  I am running/playing in a dark heresy 2 game which is set in the Warhammer 40k universe.  I have a tech priest  character named Delphan 11001001. The player who wants to gm for a while did bring in a holy relic poweraxe that my character saw as sacred and divine as it was forded on Mars, home world on the adeptus mechanics, the followers of the machine god.

Well, If you did write it, and the next time you compose a sentence that is almost illegible due to so so many typos it could be written by a 6 year old, I'll remind you of this long meandering babble (but no typos! ).

Oh kiss my ass! I'm damn sick and tired of having s**t thrown at me because my fingers refuse to type anything right and i get tired of taking 10x longer to fix a message than it did to types it.

I hope every a***ole that mkocks me for my typing reincarnates with a set of fingerts like mine and sees how it feels.

Because what you just typed now is insane, but there is punctuation in that, and Lawd knows that's too much to ask -and you said yourself- you can't type for some obscure reason-so how did you type that?

first off the post involved a lot of worlds spellcheck can;t get right so I had to double check them. secondly sometimes i type on a keyboard instead of a damn tablet with a s**tty keyboard that you have to shift screen for to get to a lot of necessary keys.

But you don't bother to double check the word "can't".
Or use CAPITALS.

Hopefully by next session Neophyte  Sebastian Lecter will be ready to be unleashed on the galaxy.

Back on topic....

I just had an urge to do a character named "Sebastian". For some reason a lot of police drama shows feature a villain or sometimes a good guy named Sebastian.

I've always kind of liked Anthony Hopkins characters. I liked his take on Van Helsing in brahm stokercs dracula, and his Hannibal lecter is an interesting character in how he can go from soft spoken, civil,  polite and erudote to a snarling raging killer in a half second.


So my character is something of a cross between the two. Often a cultured, educated,  civil man, when confronting evil he can become a merciless killer driven by righteous rage. While a safe is often considered more of a passive  role, advising the more combat oriented characters, Sebastian is able to take an active hand in purging chaos filth. Often crouching in cover with his sniper rifle,  carefully picking vital targets, he can selectively remove the most dangerous members of a cult horde while leaving the numerous rabble to the close combat specialists who are better suited to disposing of multiple low level enemies. 

Other useful abilities include his extensive knowledge of matters most arcane, his ability to concoct vicious toxins to apply to party members weapons and his understanding of imperial bureauocracy which helps in acquiring items the party may need.

He's  also gifted with the rare ability to sense the taint of the psyker or other unnatural presences.

claws opinion around here is well regarded. 

Why don't you learn grammer? In your sentence above the proper use would have been "Claws' " as claws was used as a possessive.

Actually, I was using it as a proper noun, and "claws" spells his moniker with the lower case.  Ergo, polite and proper, acknowledging that all kinds of monikers may have non-standard English spelling.  To make assumptions about a person based upon their spelling of their own name would be prejudicial.  And to include the apostrophe would defeat my purpose.

Dark Alex starts a thread about his D&D game and no one gives him grief.  I start a thread about ny Dark Heresy game and all I get is s**t thown at it.

People were polite to Alex because Alex was always polite to other people. People are rude to you because you've been rude to them. I tried to explain you will have to be on your best behavior for a long, long time before people will forgive and forget. You just have to take it for a while. As to beng rude, when you're constanty being jabbed and snarked at yes you get get a little xxxxing fed up at times. I'm still offended at AHD for comparing me to trump which I take as an insult.

Ran my new character for the first time Wednesday night. Went kind of funny. My character was a neophyte for another inquisitor and the total FNG. His warband was wiped out and he alone survived to carry on the missiob to a planet somethin evil was happening on.

He had an inquistorial symbol and little time to act so he went to a minor church and presented himself as a member of get holy ordos of the inquisition. He just left out being a neophyte.

Btw I'm not fixing nost typos as last time I was careeeful about typos and took a n hour to type it with little typos I got mocked for not making typos,  so xxxx it.

The priesrs and staff of get church decided to think of him. As as inquisitor sbd he didn't see a need to correct them.

Then a week later the real inquisitorial warband shows up.

As they're investigating they notice an unusual person in the crowd looking around abd not making his stealth rolls. He did have an unusual ability this is fairly rare.

Soon a sister of tge priesthood approached one member of the warband and asked him to follow her to meet with 'the inquisitor'.

So you bad a group of fairly advabced acolytes meeting with someone known as 'the inquisitor'....


...whe was a rank amateur that had not been certified as an acolyte yet, nonehless doing his duty to the god Emperor and humanity and struggling to root out the evil and save the planet from daemonic incursion and conquest. With only a donated rosette from a dying acolyte,  a Laspistol and a longlas sniper rifle plus a suit of common infantry armor to his name.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised you're stupid enough to confuse heresy with horsey...

Should get my first xp soon. I think i'll raise my base stats since my skills are at stat level now and barring positive modifiers I fail too much.  I mean my stats are mostly mid 30's so I usually fail at my skill rolls. If I can raise intelligence and perception I can start succeeding a lot more.

The last session ended with a probable daemonic incursion just beginning.  The hive Shook badly with the origin being a lower level.

We have a Priest, a psyker, a couple tech priests and more. My character will likely hang back and snipe as much as he can.
His rifle is accurate. So. If he can pull a good roll it does extra damage.

Yeah, okay. Just pretend nothing happened. Stir up a bunch of drama then run off with your tail between your legs. Nobody cares about your game. Why would people that you treat like s**t even pay attention to your game?

First off, the s**t started when I did exactly what another user did and posted about a rpg I'm Involved in.

Secondly,  people who throw s**t at. Me for. My typing being bad then threw s**t at me for typing as well as I could.  Yes that p**sed me off , dumbf**k.

Thirdly,  die.

Bad news.  No game this week. The gm has an abcess on his face abd we're all hoping he'll be OK.

We played Tuesday nsrewd of Wednesday this week as one of our players,  josh, was in town today and for the first time in months played in person instead of over the phone and speakers.

We integrated my character who was in a sense an "orphaned" neophyte of another inquisitor who's comrades had been killed.

We started out fighting a daemon of nurgle who was emerging from a "biological recycling plant',  basically a huge vat where excrement,  organic waste and corpses we're converter into  fertilizer to keep crops growing.  My character being the FNG it a high power group did little but add some flavor weigh some ofnhuis forbidden lore skills.

He lost 8 of 11 hit points before josh's priest was able to banish the daemon after we weakened it with massed gun fire.

A high ppht of the game was when we saved two sister of battle who had been infected with mind altering parasites.  One had been wounded by a fanatic priest and the other was neutralized when my character  talked to her in high Gothic while showing her his nquisitorual rosette so that josh's other character, an underhiver rogue, couild shoot her in the neck with a tranquilizer needle. He rolled so many degrees of success she collapsed at once and my character had to catch her and lower her to the floor, commenting on his heavy her power armor was.

We then spent XP and started  a new adventure in which half our  characters we're sent into prison as undercover agents and nthe other half arrived as staff. Each player has a character in each group.

Damn weird thing is happening. Rolling d100's in this game and a really unusual number of times the result is litteraly 00 7.

It's  happened on more than one set of d100's and to more thast one person.

A statistical fluke,  I guess. Still it's  kinda weird it would be that number...
