Title: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
Post by: ER on September 12, 2019, 03:09:02 PM
I liked the opening few minutes, then to be honest got bored for about the next hour, but the scenes back at Hogwarts where Dumbledore was teaching D.A.T.D.A. were worth the entire sit-thru, and things did mostly pick up after there. Not a great installment in the series, it had its flaws and lapses in canon chronology, but I'm still glad I finally saw it and I wish more films set in the wizarding world were being made.

So, to rate it, on a scale of Hagrid having one to six pints down a' tuh pub, three nut brown ales were tipped back by the big oaf.

Fantastic Beasts

The 1st 2 in the series have been successful enough at the box office, if not with critics, that the 3rd installment is scheduled for 2021. It was suppose to air in 2020, but the mixed reaction from critics has pushed it back an year for script doctoring.
