Well, "everybody else" is a tricky phrase because people in this very forum will disagree, but here are some from me:

THE LORD OF THE RINGS
THE HOBBIT
MEMENTO
EVIL DEAD II
TRAINSPOTTING
THE TRUMAN SHOW
THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION

There's no movie everybody loves. (We even have people here who dislike THE WIZARD OF OZ!)

For SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, I'd need to start a thread called "Movies you thing are pretty good but so incredibly overrated that you get annoyed by people constantly proclaiming its Greatness."

But in the spirit of the thread:

THE GODFATHER
SCHINDLER'S LIST
12 ANGRY MEN
THE LORD OF THE RINGS
PULP FICTION
FIGHT CLUB

Taxi Driver
Blazing Saddles
Spirited Away
Psycho

I gotta say, I really love The Wolfman 2010 movie,
although Lon Chaney Jr will always be the real Wolfman in my eyes.

You might've noticed my own commentary about "everybody" or "hyperbole".  Prolly not.  Just bustin' your chops.

I haven't seen WIZARD OF OZ but since it's a musical I already hate it.
It's maybe the perfect Hollywood movie.  It's a movie movie.  You don't know what you're missing.

I don't like musicals mainly because they never have flying monkeys. OZ has flying monkeys, so it gets a pass.

We part company; THE PRINCESS BRIDE is wonderful.

I can't say I "love" M and seriously, "everybody else" does not.  It's a great and important film, but hardly a crowd-pleaser.

Yeah a movie with a child killer you end up feeling bad for? That messes with your emotions.
Now KING KONG (1933)? Yeah. Nobody said KING KONG yet... but yeah. the 1933 version of Kong-if someone don't like that ("oh-it's in black and white", " it's old.") are just plain ignorant.

I agree it was about time somebody mentioned KING KONG.  I just watched it not too long ago.  It never gets old, just better.
But, taste is in everybody's mouth, and maybe someone somewhere...

What about the ALISTAIR SIM A CHRISTMAS CAROL (1951)?  Does everybody love it?  It's definitely a favorite of mine.  I love it.

the 51 version is my fave too, although i just watched the 35 version with seymour hicks who is also a fabulous scrooge. and LOVE the princess bride!
and i don't LOVE 2001, it's just okay. a christmas story, nope, didn't like it. and a BIG no to the godfather movies , shawshank and green mile too.
how about animated stuff? alice in wonderland 1951 is a fave for everyone i've ever shown it to, along with the original snow white. and the point. and the phantom tollbooth.
LOVE wizard of oz, of course. and king kong 33. and heaven can wait( original), death takes a holiday(original) and a little known movie called on borrowed time, which i'm STILL trying to find a decent dvd copy.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND 1951 is fantastic!  The only Disney animation I think is greater would be PINOCCHIO (1940).

HEAVEN CAN WAIT (1943... with DON AMECHE?)  Love it!

ON BORROWED TIME (1939) is shown on TCM once in awhile - CEDRIC HARDWICKE LIONEL BARRYMORE - I like it, but don't "love" it.  Really, it is a downer... I looked it up... "PeeWee" is the grandkid... BOBS WATSON.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968)

This is a tough one to say "love" about, but it is the most remarkable Horror film yet made.  If it scared the crap outta you so much you couldn't look at it again, yeah, you loved it.  It succeeded.
