There's a crossroad with sharp turns right next to our firm, it can make oncoming traffic hard to see because of fields and trees. Besides two cars crashing through the fence there are a few crossroad accidents every year. You'd think authorities would put up "slow down" signs or something but nope.

Fire department checked over the store. Wrecker took the car away. And we waited the rest of the day for someone to come & board the place up.

Some years ago, I saw a news segment about a car that lost control and ran into a hair dresser. It took me a few seconds to realize that it was the hairdresser I go to! On the plus side, no one was injured, and the salon got a new fitout. My hairdresser was hella shaken, though. One of the crashes was at a fitness places I go to.
