Title: Its Not Captains Courageous or The Old Man And The Sea Post by: WesleyMitchell on February 10, 2021, 11:50:38 PM cant remember the name of the movie, what its about, or who's in it. i can only remember a scene from the movie. its an older movie, probably made in the late 70's or early 80's. the scene takes place on a fishing boat (similiar to the one in Jaws). an older man and a young boy(say 12) are the only ones aboard the boat. the boy is sitting in a chair with a deep sea pole, fishing. the boy hooks a huge fish(i think a sailfish or a marlin). the boy fights the fish for hours with the guidance and help of the old man, but eventually loses the fish. the boy colllapses in tears and exhaustion. what a great scene. would love to watch the movie with my adult eyes, please help...
