Title: Brad Allan dies at 48. Post by: Jim H on August 09, 2021, 11:01:12 AM A serious loss, Brad Allan has died at 48 of a heart attack. He's not the most visible guy around, but he was one of the best action choreographers in the business, and I honestly don't know who can step into his shoes in western films. He was the first non-Asian member of Jackie Chan's stunt team, and famously fought him in probably Chan's best fights of the last 25 years in Gorgeous - Allan was an incredible wushu performer.
He also choreographed the action sequences in films like Hellboy 2, Kick-Ass, Pacific Rim, Kingsman, and the upcoming Shang-Chi film. Often he 2nd unit directed on these films as well. RIP.
