Title: Weird technical question
Post by: Scott123 on August 31, 2021, 01:06:08 PM
I have sort of an odd question to ask ... Most people would prefer the opposite, but I'm looking at ordering an old western DVD (Dodge City, 1939) that was shot in color. However, I'd prefer to watch it in black and white. Is that a simple thing to do? I'd be using your basic plasma TV (LG)

It would be as simple as messing around with the colour and contrast type settings on your TV.

I always do that when I watch my fave film noir

OK thanks. I knew it would be an easy thing, just haven't messed with that stuff in years.

I bought a colorized Night of the Living Dead VHS tape back in the 1980s. I hated the colorized version, so I always turned the color down and watched it in black & white.
