October is coming up soon, post some triple feature recommendations for Halloween for those who don't know what to watch. I'll start with:

Witchcraft Theme
1. Superstition (1982)
2. Terror (1978)
3. Beyond Evil (1980)
Any of these movies...but KING KONG ESCAPES (1967) has a special place in my heart, as I saw it on a Saturday matinee on Halloween in 1973.

Cool. The first three are actually on blu-ray

Ghost House Theme
1. The Hearse (1980)
2. The Nesting (1981)
3. The Bride (1973)
Alien Terror Theme
1. The Dark (1979)
2. Time Walker (1982)
3. Without Warning (1980)

There are many possibilities, but here is one:
* BARN OF THE NAKED DEAD
* DERANGED
* INVASION OF THE BLOOD FARMERS
Alex :buggedout:
Make 'em neat and little, like this:

Zombie Theme
1. Mutant (1984)
2. Shock Waves (1977)
3. Cemetery of Terror (1985)
I would if I knew how to.
I was only kidding. Make them as you please
The random sizes tend to bug me a bit, so I would resize them if I knew how to.
Well, I use Imgur for storing and resizing images, if you want to give it a try.
I use Imgur for putting my pictures on, but to be honest I had never looked at it for anything more than just a place to dump stuff on. Will have a look at how to resize stuff on it.
When you use the img function, this pops up: [ img ]
You can change it to this: [ img width=200 ] to standardize the widths of the images (won't make the heights match, though).
Karloff triple feature:

Many thanks to the good Rev and Claws for the help there. I may go back and fix a few other pictures. :)

HAUNTEDWEEN (1991)
ROCKTOBER BLOOD (1984)
TRICK OR TREATS (1982)
I wish Rocktober Blood had a decent physical media release. It appears that MGM owns the original print. The Sebastian family who made the movie claim they own "home video" rights. They released a special edition BD-Rom in poor quality (taken from an ex-rental tape) a few years ago, and applied a cheap adobe filter to make it look remastered. Fans who bought it filed for refunds.
However, the Sebastians still made enough sales to buy a brand new BBQ grill they showed off on their website :bouncegiggle:

Maternity Horror Theme
1. Aswang (1994)
2. The Suckling (1990)
3. Baby Blood (1990)
Underground / Cave Creature Theme
1. Scared to Death (1980)
2. The Strangeness (1985)
3. C.H.U.D. (1984)

bizarre... I've only ever seen it on youtube
Something silly to start off with and then getting more serious for when it gets later.

The "Dracula really doesn't get along with others" Triple Feature!

Toxic Waste Theme
1. Plutonium Baby (1987)
2. The Being (1983)
3. The Children (1980)
TCM used to have wonderful marathons on Halloween showing thriller B movies like THE BLACK ROOM or THE WALKING DEAD or THE MAN THEY COULD NOT HANG or THE MAN WITH NINE LIVES... all BORIS KARLOFF... all perfect for creaky creepy old timey Halloween viewing...
My recommendations 3 would be :
RETURN TO GLENNASCAUL (1951) a short film ORSON WELLES appears in and narrates. The perfect ghost story. It's available at YouTube.
DANZA MACABRE (aka CASTLE OF BLOOD 1964) - superb Italian Giallo with BARBARA STEELE!
SON OF FRANKENSTEIN - maybe the best of the first 3 films, less humor than BRIDE, lots of BELA LUGOSI and the great BASIL RATHBONE!

The film on the right was the first film I ever saw advertised on the internet, the first time I used the internet ever. Still chilling after all these years. :buggedout: :buggedout:
My triple feature:
Alone In The Dark (Uncle Uwe)
Race With The Devil
The Sound of Music

2. Scream (1981)

Frankly they all suck except the last one.
HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL which I own around here on VHS is typically shown on TCM for Halloween which is disappointing at best.
CAROL OHMART is the reason to watch that and it is so remarkably
CHEEZEE and
CORNY it could slip by as Halloween is about bad taste.
THE TINGLER is also lame but even more boring. Now...
THE LAST MAN ON EARTH is
CREEPY...

Alien Terror Theme
1. The Dark (1979)
2. Time Walker (1982)
3. Without Warning (1980)
THE DARK is a really BAD movie I really like! I'd mix that craptail up with either version
INVADERS FROM MARS.

A few I've been meaning to watch. That last one is more of a miniseries that a movie.
