Title: Re: Lifeforce Post by: Cullen on July 22, 2002, 02:50:09 PM I own Lifeforce on both tape and DVD. It is one of my favorite movies, and I do recommend it. The acting can be a bit stiff, and the plot can be a bit dodgy, but still, good stuff.

During the early parts of the movie, when they are investigating the alien ship, the atmosphere is great. Hundreds of mummified vampires, that look sort of like werebats, drift in zero gravity in a huge room. Then the explorers find three (three, right?) human beings, apparently in suspended animation. I like the rest of the movie, especially near the end when all heck breaks look, but the beginning has always seemed perfect. Unfortunately, "Lifeforce" is rumored to be the film that killed Tobe Hooper's career. That is a shame, because it is an interesting movie.
