Title: The Town That Dreaded Sundown
Post by: Will on July 25, 2002, 01:31:51 PM
Well, if you like seeing the lecherous and boring professor from "Boggy Creek II: The Legend Continues" in drag, this is a good one. If that's not your bag, this bag-headed serial killer is kind of......non-threatening.

A few funny moments of sheer badness, like most of the dialogue delivery, some questionable decisions to shoot characters conducting mundane activities that have nothing to do with the movie, a camera man in view during the "exciting" climax, and the satisfaction of seeing an old man in his underwear brandish a rifle, but they don't do much for me.

Too bad......it took me forever to get around to seeing this; I had found it for $1.99 at wal-mart, but the wait was less than worth it.

1 slime for the drag queens.

I just recently caught this one on one of the plethora of premium channels. Boy howdy, what was it about filmmakers in the '70s that thay loved showing sweaty rotund sheriffs investigating uninteresting crimes? Right up there with the Boggy Creek movies in the "disgusting f***ed-up southern movies" category.
