Title: TV show Idea Post by: Scott Davis on April 18, 2001, 02:54:52 PM I've had this idea floating around for a while in my head.
Its called B-Movie. You give a group of people, say 10,000 dollars, to make the best movie then can. It canbe in any genre, except porn. Everything is video-taped, from start to finsh. It's show the process of writing, directoring, casting etc etc. They have 15 weeks to make this film, and after that, you get to see their final product, in a 2 hour season finale. Or like Fritz told me, the producers of the show have people send in scripts to them, and they pick the worst of the bunch and get people to make it. Title: Great idea, but... If you don't know how to do that reply and I'll tell u how. It's a snap. Love the idea. I think that it would be even more fun if they let famous [horror] icons show up to give pointers. DIRECTING: Wes Craven or even make-up, Savini. Cool idea.

When I had this idea, the first person who came into my mind was Lloyd Kaufman; Founder of Troma. It would have to be pitched to HBO, or Showtime or in Canada, Showcase or Bravo. In fact, you could go to a film school festival and get the same effect.

( how many pages on makeing Foever evil you at Doc?) That is the only "Reality" show i'd like to watch. Go cable for more artistic freedom. And get that copyright! Don't let 'em stick it to ya.
