Title: A new Drink.THE FLAMING TURTLE! Post by: Flangepart on April 21, 2001, 12:16:35 PM Heres a idea for After B-fest 2002. You mix Two oz. Creme De Menth, 2 shots of Saki, followed by a can of Sapporo. One other thing...you have to drink it while spinning around in a circle! A perfect lesson on the laws of physics. A real challange to any Kaiju fans dedication to the cause. Oh, by the way, its called a flaming Turtle because you light the alcohol...like a cherrys jubile,ya see. Scream "Banzi!" and you get extra points. Remember, do not operate automobiles, heavy machinery, or advanced combat mecha while drinking, and do have a designated pilot at all times........okey, lets see you guys come up with one.
Title: Re: A new Drink.THE FLAMING TURTLE! Post by: Apostic on April 22, 2001, 11:25:33 PM I usually can't do booze after a B-Fest. But if I did, I'd rather mix some crushed ice, fruit juices, rum (light AND dark), apricot brandy, then float some 151 on top.
About three weekends ago, my wife and I hosted a movie night, and the above concoction was the official drink. Why? The drink is called a Zombie, and the movie event was called "Night of the Living B Movies." Lesson learned: When serving drinks like that and showing Dead Alive, be sure to keep some extra wastebaskets handy. regards, Apostic |
