Title: Slow Bob in the Lower Dimensions Post by: Mofo Rising on February 22, 2001, 01:25:14 PM Anybody seen this one. According to IMDb it was a tv movie directed by Henry Selick (Nightmare Before Christmas, Monkeybone). All IMDb has on it though is two user quotes that say nothing about the movie.

"Slow Bob" is a short film that ran on MTV's "Liquid Television" (which, believe me, I miss as much as "Sifl & Olly" and "Beavis & Butt-Head"), combining, as Selick's other flicks do, live-action, stop-motion and CGI. Slow Bob is a interdimensional traveller tormented by a nasty two-headed girl who goes to the Land of the Photo-People to save them from a marauding band of flying scissor-demons. Gnaaaaaaa... Lots of good,well,at least mind boggeling stuff got played on Liquid Television. too bad they stopped playing it. Perfect for those of us with short attention spans. where was i? oh yes...Mark mothersbaugh did the theme music. It should be available some where. Maby Ike&Mikes twisted cartoons?

Again, I recall Mighty Atomic Pikachu saying "Slow Bob" is on there (MAP, can you confirm?), and that makes sense as the original (and good) "Joe's Apartment" short and Selick's assorted "MTV-logo" shorts are aboard. Warrrrk! (Actual "Slow Bob" dialog. He seems pre-verbal but capable, even if the little two-headed girl kicks his ass with ease.)
