Title: Re: Terminator Post by: Kevin on May 13, 2001, 02:49:31 PM There have been stories in the last week or so [from, among other places, Ananova] to the effect that Arnie's signed up after all but that Linda Hamilton has refused to return as Sarah Connor. Variety have been suggesting that Jonathan Mostow will be directing it just as soon as the threatened actors' strike has finished. Of course a lot can change between now and then, and this film has been on-again off-again for so long that I'll only believe it's made when it gets a release!

Linda Hamilton is indeed out; she wavered for awhile, almost went with it when she learned she wouldn't have to work with her ex (Cameron), then apparently decided her career wasn't deep enough in the toilet and said "no." Schwartznegger dropped his plans to run for political office--wisely--but all these details can change in the coming months...

Arnie has always been a fruitful source of rumors that never come to pass; remember when hewas slated to do Sgt. Rock (not too long after Raw Deal)? And soon thereafter he was attached to the Planet of the Apes remake (again, this is over a decade ago).
