Title: "The Legend of Boggy Creek" Post by: Ringneck on May 23, 2001, 01:45:02 PM This had to be one of my all time favorite "creature" films. Loosley based on a real flap of sasquatch sightings in Arkansas, they used all locals(some times the actual witnesses) to recreate the events. Really jerky camera work, the lack of "actors", and the fact you hardly ever see the monster make teh movie work. This is what spawned "In Search of", which then was a major influence for "Blair Witch". This movie available anywhere for sale? I loaned out my copy and never got it back. Avoid the sequels(II and "Return to") at ALL costs. Brad LaGrange

Hm, guess I should go look it up on the IMDb. It was a great one to see at the drive-in with a bucket of popcorn. Much fun.
