Nathan Shumate of Cold Fusion Video, a good friend to us at Jabootu and to Andrew as well, has apparently lost his job.  Making this even tougher is that Nathan has a wife and kids.

I should probably have cleared this with Andrew, but I know he's busy right now and I'm sure he won't mind.  (If he does, I'll gladly accept the ass whuppin'.)  

What I'd like to suggest is, for those that can spare a couple of bucks, please visit Nathan's 'tip jar' at Cold Fusion and send him a buck, or five, or ten, or whatver.  I'm sure he'd appreciated anything you could spare, even a single dollar.

I apologize to anyone who considers this an imposition.  Feel free to write me a nasty note at my website.

man thats awful. I hope nathan gets through this tough time quickly. His site is probably ties with badmovies.org for my favorite sites and i've spent many'a hours just browsing, and I'm sure it costs a pretty penny to keep site like these up and running.

I don't know how you manage to fit so much heart into your chest cavity, but you never cease to amaze me.  I'm glad to count you as a friend.

I'm doing okay so far, everyone.  I was set adrift with a nice little pot of gold, and I've got a stack of job prospects right here.  I may be a little less regular in my updates for a while; I regret that I don't have nearly as good excuse as Andrew does.

Thanks for everything, all.  And remember every day to enjoy what you've got, and remember what's important.
