Title: Francis, Coleman Francis Post by: The Waffle Man on May 31, 2001, 02:29:02 AM Does anybody know where I can find some info on this fascinating and brilliant individual? For some reason the Francis flicks fascinate me to no end. I mean, you've got all those weird characters at the party scene in Skydivers, the bizzare signs and sensless killing of a restaraunteer while his blind daughter plays the piano... The man was a master of surrealistic film-making. Any info you have on his life and times (did he ever consider making a fourth movie?) would be much appreciated.
P.S. One of the things I found on the web was a website about a stage musical based on red zone cuba. Is this for real? Title: Red Zone Cuba Post by: Stefan Robak on May 31, 2001, 06:51:47 PM It was based on a book called Night Train to Muno Fine so it would more likely be based on that.
