I have had many bad costumes over the years, most of which have been given away for other shows, though I retain many many bits and pieces of some. I recently did a live musical version of "Much Ado About Nothing" here in Colorado, and composed my entire costume for Borachio (Bad guy/drunk/insane) from these bits and pieces. Depending on how much you'd be willing to pay, I can put you in touch with someone who can build you one. Post by: peter johnson on March 29, 2003, 04:26:12 PM Shoot, I own one of the best-looking whole-head iguana masks in the world, and yes, visibility IS and issue -- can't see at all out of the alleged eye-slits, though you sort of get a view out of the mouth slit -- but the coolness factor outweighs any safety issue -- sort of like a Jeep --
The solution is to have a SIDEKICK (Plankton Girl!) for Jellyfish Man to lead him around (discreetly) when wearing the Jellyfish costume to formal events like weddings and Bar-Mitzvahs, etc. Hadn't really thought of the air issue, though.
